Looks like i must have always the HLE plugin with Audio Throttle on and with audio backend to "DSound", if i ever change it to OpenAl or disable audio throttle , it wont show anything in my comp, like described on the above posts. Hope it helps to somebody. I have the same problem as this guy had with the screen staying blank after the "hold the wiimote sideways" screen fades out. Trouble is, I'm in linux so DSound isn't an option. I've tried all the other options pretty much on this revision (6265) as well as a couple earlier ones in the 6100s (6135 that I recall) and one in the 5200s and nothing. Same hang in all of them no matter what. I've also tried that save people have been saying to use and still won't get past this screen. Also, when it fades out, the low humming can continue to be heard. This is what I get on the console in pretty much all cases (except some random odd crashes that I can't reproduce, which just end in a segmentation fault, but they're uncommon, and if I'm messing around in menus, I'll get some GTK warnings.): Code: 04:15:790 Source/Core/Common/Src/FileUtil.cpp:97 W[COMMON]: IsDirectory: stat failed on ./user/Wii/title/00000001/00000002/content: Other games do work since I've tried new super mario bros wii and it's mostly playable at full speed and okami works to some extent but it's not very fun since the text isn't readable. If any more information is needed I'll provide it. Suggestions welcome. Also in making this post, one of your shitty ads click-jacked the entire page and I almost lost my post. I suggest you use a less shady ad service...
Finally, I beat Metroid other M, I can say "The game is fully playable on Dolphin", thank you Dolphin team, now my son wants to beat the game on my Wii xDDDDDDDDDD, I started the game first

The "million dollar questions" is ... What is the dolphin revision that make this game possible to play , with the minor errors possible, or it isn´t possible yet ?!? A read that some people where able to finish the game, so if someone could help out. thanks in advance

all i can say is 6268 is good for me only prob is my cpu speed and the candles, waiting a few weeks for my new ir sensor to arrive. currently on the pal version have looked back at the ntsc u version yet. only place i had problems in both releases so far were in the training room (black screen and stall after before learning sensing). thats it.

I just tried r6269 and it looks great, and i´m able to mantain 50-60 fps in training room at 1080p. The game look great in Dolphin, it´s impossible that they don´t tried pushing wii´s hardware further.

glad to hear you getting along well. enjoy yourself man.
peace. we know they could improve on the graphics n still sell at a low price. but were all still having fun in my opinion. have a few action games here but i really have a tendency for that child like feeling with wii games to be honest. wii have have that urge some times. every age as far as we can see and thats where i will give wii its props. we're now into the dreamcast error in my opinion tho. a pity.... |
