So, I am just chiming in again here now... Am I to understand that ED is even more stable from this patch lately? In the latest Revs? If there are any significant changes you want tested, I have a little time to do so on Thursday.
Synchronised FIFO patch (for Eternal Darkness)

in here u have patched one of latest svn's
http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-100...l#pid98561 use dx11 for playing, its perfect no need for z hack its also stable no crashes, but it works only with SC and idle skipping on,not in dc.and with no problems in sound. or if u prefer u can use this patch: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-100...l#pid98591 and after patching manually edit systemtimers as stated in this post,-meaning disable watchdog with // Code: Index: SystemTimers.cpp http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-100...l#pid98843 u will get what's in first page with just enhanced graphic,it will work on DC but would be unstable with bit hangups and troublesome sound.

IcemanSR, I've reviewed the merged patch (eternal_darkness3.patch) and you've done a pretty good job merging the code. From the looks of it, I think that we need to link fifoBusy to readIdle. This should get DC mode working without the watchdog.
I don't have time right now, but will get to it when I do. 07-01-2010, 01:05 AM
That's exactly what i am doing right now,but i get boot and after few sec fps goes to 0,still on drawing board, but its not easy since i am still new to this project, still unfamiliar with the whole code...

(07-01-2010, 12:50 PM)Emulatong Wrote: how do I patch the build? you dont need to make it for yourself, simply use one of these links. its one of the newer svn^^ http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-100...l#pid98561
here is an updated builds
code has been cleaned extremly, and refined a bit, can't post a patch at this moment, will do soon but u can take builds. Singlecore setup works perfectly in all ways Dualcore is still bit unstable, tendances to cpu's outbursts,if that happens during videos it might result with hangs and or loss of some sound effects.(voice acting etc) Same as previous use Dx11 for perfect graphic ,do not use any hacks(zelda etc) use idle skipping.do not use safetexture or cpu->efb etc stuff they will only slow down the game but u won't benefit nothing from it.EFB copy and EFB scaled copy are only requrements. I advise setting fps limmit to 60(NTSC) and or fps limmit 50(PAL). auto fps limmit will just slow down the game unecesary. do not use audio throttle. If u cannot use Dx11 for any reason u can use Dx9 and or OpenGL but then zelda hack must be applied,in order to see letters etc ,but it will broke some other graphic, like in game maps etc. Code: http://rapidshare.com/files/404277792/Eternal_Darkness_updated_1x64.rar.html

hi thanks for your work, is this for eternal darkness only?
because ive tried this on red steel, with the config you said, but the game has trouble starting with it... 07-04-2010, 09:55 PM
Red Steel has other issues, something about a device which is not supported by Dolphin.
Intel i5-4690k (Devil's Canyon) @ 3.5 GHz (+Scythe Mugen) / Gainward GTX 1070 Phoenix (OC'd) / ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER / 16GB G.Skill DDR3-2400 CL10 TridentX / X-Fi XtremeMusic / Win10 Pro 64bit / Dell S2716DG Monitor / 3x original WiiMote+MotionPlus+Nunchuk
