If possible not real spoiler pics please :p I havn't played far yet due to some problems: Hi! I am new here but have been active on dolphin discussion on another board for a while now. I live in Europe - Austria (right next to Switzerland where the game is available since last friday). I have a powerful enough PC to run Skyward Sword at constant 30FPS (i5 2500k, HD 5770, 4GB). I havn't had any issue playing Wii games on dolphin up until now. I bought a Motion Plus add-on for Skyward Sword and when playing everything seems to work for a short time. But it seems that the M+ loses its calibration constantely and resets itself. So I end up holding the sword in weird angles (backwards or sideways) even when I have the Wiimote pointed at the screen. I use the "Hama Nano-Bluetooth-USB-Adapter Version 2.1 + EDR Class2" Bluetooth USB adapter and I also sometimes notice that the input for the Wiimote somehow seems delayed for half a second. I havn't observed this so far (could just be that I havn't noticed or that it hasn't happend). Also played on Wii to see the comparison: Wii + Motion Plus works like a charm (awesomely done Miyamoto and team!!) - graphics (having it played once on dolphin I don't want to get back to Wii) PC + HD (gorgeous!) - Motion Plus doesn't seem to work properly - very hard to fight and aim (constantly moves even though Wiimote is recentered and hold steady) Does anyone have idea how to fix the Motion Plus? I would really love to play the game in HD. Could the problem be my Bluetooth adapter? Could this be because in my dorm is a lot of wireless connection going on? I felt like Miyamoto on E3 stage back in 2010 when I played 11-15-2011, 09:28 PM
@aklambda: Do you have a sensor bar working when playing on Dolphin? Because even with Motion+, the sensor bar is still needed to show the game where "forward" is.

Having an issue with the wiimotion plus... I bought a wiimotion plus specifically for this game. It runs perfectly on my comp, but the only issue is that the nunchuck is unresponsive when I try to play it. The wiimote works, just not the nunchuck. Anyone else experiencing this? It works for any other game, but not when its connected the wiimotion plus

I heard from some people they have the same problem and they do not use a sensor bar. I even tried the original Wii sensor bar with the Wii on in the background but the exact same thing. It feels right for about 5-10 seconds and that goes totally crazy. Sometimes I calms down again when I recenter and sometimes it just keeps spinning even though I recenter (the M+ Wiimote not moving in both cases pointing at the screen). I also seem to notice a bit of delay in the Pointer (when you calibrate the M+). Will check if that is so in other games too (hardly used the pointer functionality up until now in my games I play). Then it could definitly be the Bluetooth adapter. It seems like the Bluetooth device has long intervals inbetween sending and receiving data. Is there a way it increase this takt? (My brother had a similar problem with his World of Warcraft - sometimes he had really bad lag because the game waited until a certain amount of data has been collected and then send it as a package. Now he configued it so it sends immediately and he has hardly any lag anymore). 11-15-2011, 10:53 PM
@linkpro: Yeah, without it your sword will always point in weird directions after a few swings.
@aklambda: I don't have a lag. You could try if it gets resolved when you put the volume of the wiimote speaker all the way down in the wiimote config. If that doesn't help you could also try "Alternate Wiimote timing" in the game properties (right-click the game, etc.)

How can I disable the blur effect? It looks buggy for me. Buildings at the near creat a silhouette and do a border between sharp and blurry. I have the same settings like in post 1. I remember pictures of the first post, where everything was sharp. How to get that result?

I finally registered here .
So far Zelda is working great here on r7719. Only the shadows are block but i dont care about them. This game is awesome and is really looking great!. I have some slowdown to 22 fps when im in Skyloft. My system is a Q6600 @ 3ghz, 8800GT. So i cannot complain i think. This morning i received a Wireless sens bar wich i have on top of my monitor. Im using a wii mote with build in motion plus. I dont have any aiming issues. But i noticed you really need that wireless sens bar. Does anyone got real far in this game because i really want to keep on playing without any crashes or something. I just started in the first temple and so far so good! |
