Hello everyone. So here is my situation, I have a Wiimote and a sensor bar, but I have no nunchuck. I do though, have a PS Navigation controller, which is basically the nunchuck, except it has a couple extra buttons and a dpad.
I have the nav controller successfully setup using MotionInJoy and that is no problem at all. The problem though is in Dolphin itself. So if I choose Real Wiimote, then the IR pointing works perfectly fine, but I cannot use my "nunchuck", as I need to be emulating the wiimotes nunchuck.
So I tried to use the Hybrid Wiimote, and the wiimote buttons worked fine, the nunchuck buttons worked fine, but there was no wiimote IR pointing. I did hear somewhere else in the forums that in the Hybrid Wiimote, the IR was set to being emulated, and not the real Wiimote IR.
Is there a reason for this? Why is there not an option to set the IR to the real Wiimote? Is there a way to do this? Or am I stuck? Thanks.
Edit: One solution I can think is to make a GlovePie script to get the IR input and send it is output for a PPJoy virtual joystick, then input that in as the IR movement in the Hybrid Wiimote. This would be annoying though, as I haven't used GlovePie for years, and would have to figure it out again to write the script. If anyone knows of anyone having done this already, that would be great.
