I've been trying to figure this issue out for a day or two now, and can't seem to get it working.
I have an official Wii U GC Adapter and an official nintendo gamecube controller. I have successfully set it up on my pc, and it works flawlessly without issue on my computer.
However, after setting up Dolphin on a different PC, I decided to hook up the adapter there to test it out. It would not recognize the adapter, so I simply installed Zadig latest version, and installed the driver. After 5 minutes I got an error, so I followed the instructions on the wiki page to reset zadig and bring the adapter back to vanilla, and tried again. This time it was successful, however, after trying to play SSBM, I ran into some issues I have never experienced before. The controller works fine, I am able to navigate the menus, and begin a fight. During the fights the controller will vibrate at seemingly random times and ignore inputs for a second. After a bit of this the controller starts vibrating constantly, ignoring all inputs, and continues to vibrate even after closing dolphin. It only stops if unplugged. The controller then does not work again unless I reinstall the driver, and repeat.
Any help figuring out how to fix this is greatly appreciated!
