It's probably for the NTSC version of the game.

Hey guys, could someone help with my problem?
I am using dolphin 5.0 atm and trying to play this game, i've already played a lot game with almost no bugs or glitches, but when i am around in game places with waters or rivers around the the textures goes nuts. I've taken a pic; http://i64.tinypic.com/2vxfu6e.png As you can see for some reason it turns blurred and the moment i move around it keeps going like that. Do i have to change some settings or stuff to avoid this? The game is running smooth theres no problem with that. Mr graphic card is a nvidia gtx geforce 560x. Thank you for the replies. Edit: for some reason this doesnt happen when i play in ''force 4:3 aspect'' settings, i tried setting it up on auto but it also sets it up on 4:3 aspect, and i guess nobody loves to play it like this lol. 12-07-2016, 02:45 AM
The water glitches out like that if you have Dolphin's widescreen hack enabled.

Well, since you're asking this in the topic for the Wii version of Twilight Princess, the answer would be to set the aspect ratio in Config > Wii to 16:9. But I'm guessing you want to know about the GC version, since that's what your screenshot shows
The general solution to problems with the built-in widescreen hack is to use a widescreen hack specifically designed for the game instead. In this case, you can find one on the Dolphin wiki page for the GC version of the game: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?t..._Ratio_Fix 12-07-2016, 03:47 AM

But i enabled the Ar code and used the widescreen hack via ar code which solved the problem for me. Thank you. 12-07-2016, 04:24 AM

I don't think I've heard of that one... 12-07-2016, 04:52 AM

Twilight Princess gets stuck at safety screen.
I originally had the normal release 5.0, but now I am using 5.0-1617 (wanted to make sure to have the bleeding edge latest version to see if it would help). In older versions of Dolphin I could run Twilight Princess just fine (minus some of the speed issues). However, now with the latest version of Dolphin, Twilight Princess will not go past the Reminder/Safety screen. All of the other titles I have will go past it okay. The green text (Dolphin D3D Video Backend. etc.) just stay there. They don't do the normal fade out and then start the game. Has anyone seen this issue before? I turned on the log and the last four lines don't seem to point to anything going wrong (at least not that I understand anyway): 11:49:406 Main.cpp:499 N[Wiimote]: Connecting... 11:49:467 Main.cpp:499 N[Wiimote]: Wii Remote Connected 11:50:383 HW\DSPLLE\DSPHost.cpp:71 N[DSPLLE]: g_dsp.iram_crc: 2a542f3c 11:50:408 DSP\DSPHWInterface.cpp:242 N[DSPLLE]: *** Copy new UCode from 0x804204e0 to 0x0000 (crc: 2a542f3c) Any advice would be great. Thank you. |
