So you just need to copy one of that .ini, D43J01 for example, than copy the code and rename the copy D43J01.ini to RUYE41.ini(without the "----" means you don't have to copy and past the "----" )
Hi! Just signed up to thank you guys for your hard work in providing all your support in configuration and the speedhack and everything to get this game running fully. You are amazing, and usually-lurker people like me appreciate helpful souls like you very much, and you deserve to be told that.
The game runs great on my Intel Core2 DUO @ 2.33GHz with 2GB RAM and a 9800GT. Only problem I'm having with it now is that the sound is very garbled and messed up, almost like a radio under heavy static. My soundcard is an Audigy 2 ZS with the latest drivers; I'm using all of the sound configration found in this thread, including unchecked audio throttle. I'm new to the Dolphin emulator (but not emulators in general); is there anything I might've missed? Perhaps a certain build of Dolphin or the DPS plugin that works better than the current one? I'll carry on searching for a solution myself, but I figured I'd ask too. With the sound fixed, this will be perfect. Thanks again, mates! 01-31-2010, 09:18 AM

I don't wanna take anything away from those guys especially JumpterTwo whose spent time making those speedhacks. Those speedhacks really rock. The NMH2 experience has been great thanks to it. Hope you release some for NMH1 someday Main Rig:

Not having much luck here. x)
4771 gives almost perfect graphical performance, but 4986 seems to be capped artificially at 30FPS, or more accurately, 50% (even though the limit is at 60; setting it to 120 puts the framerate correctly at 60FPS). But neither build resolves the sound issue I described earlier, and I'm not sure where to find other versions of the DPS plugin to try. I'm also not sure that the speedhack is working for me at all. At least, it doesn't for the intro sequence, or the movies. I'm probably missing one little checkbox somewhere, but I can't for the life of me find anything I've missed, and I've gone over this thread five times looking for it, at least. xD I'll keep looking. it's a bit disheartening to see I appear to be the only one having this problem with the sound so far. Edit: Seems the speedhack is actually causing the desync; lowering the values to 450 initially helped, but it still went wildly out of sync during the cutscene after the first fight. And sound is almost okay during gameplay, but during the intro's its still very bad and crackly. Edit2: Whelp, I tried. All sorts of builds and configs. Sound is messed up in all of them, and I can only get a good framerate in 4771. 90% of the time Dolphin crashes when I stop the game, which makes things a tad more tedius. Giving up on this one for now, unless someone offers some suggestions. :] 01-31-2010, 02:40 PM
So Im having the same problems with audio syncing during cutscenes and just overall horrendous non-ingame cutscene issues, but for me the major problem is when running in OpenGL the second I hit anything with my beam katana the game goes from 100% to 0% and slideshows through that 1 second event in about 30 seconds real time and then goes back to full speed. This doesnt happen in D3D9 but the audio and cutscene issues seem to be way worse than in OpenGL, plus the IQ and performance in general is just way nicer in OpenGL so if I could I would prefer to run it in with that instead.
Im running R4986 with the exact specifications in the OP along with the speedhacks and my rig is Core i7 @2.67ghz, 6 gigs ram and a Radeon 4890 on Windows 7 64x home premium. I messed around with just about every setting and nothing seems to fix the issue. |
