nesrulz - As I pointed out in your VSync thread, you're not using the latest Dolphin revision. The latest Dolphin revisions have revamped code for dealing with AX ucode games, so you should get perfect audio a majority of the time in many games with HLE audio. MK Wii uses the Wii version of the AX ucode (AXWii), so it should be covered. If you have still have issues even with the latest revisions (static-like sounds, stuttering, choppiness), try setting your audio backend to OpenAL and increase the latency if need be.

Official and clean version (3.5) works fine. With a small chopping, perhaps to the processor.
3.x-xxxx versions messing. Thx. btw, Shonumi, still the same "problem" with V-Sync. EDIT: fixed.

I encounter a strange behavior of dolphin (3.5-1389 x64) on SNES ghost valley 2 track. With DX9, no problem at all, but using DX11 or OGL, framerate is divided by 2, whatever settings i try... Am i the only one facing that situation on that track ?
My settings :
Edit : for audio i use HLE 06-08-2013, 02:16 AM
Are you saying that, you only get 25 out of 50 fps (or 30 out of 60)?
What happens if you disable AA? Also, is there a compelling reason you cannot use DX 9 if it works for you?

It's not exactly half of fps but quite near. Problem why i don't use dx9 is that i encounter another bug with it, but i think it's relative to my hardware because it doesn't seem to be a dolphin issue. This bug is strange, if i play in multiplayer (2,3 or 4 players) with wiimotes or classic pad, no problem, but if i try to play in single player with dx9, the game just freeze during the ten first seconds on the track
That's why i use dx11 backend. Edit : i forgot to precise i already try to desactivate AA, but it's still the same issue (only on SNES ghost valley 2 i repeat) 08-03-2013, 04:32 PM
I think the blue box bug is fixed, just try a current development build, use the OpenGL backend and enable emulate format changes.

Tested. The blue box bug can now be fixed by either disabling "Ignore Format Changes" or enabling "Disable Fog".

I have also found to get close the speed of old i need to have "open MP texture decoder" un checked |
