[Wii] Kirby's Dream Collection
|
I know there's an issue with this game not being able to play classic games, but the Wiki says it's been fixed and I find that it simply has not. Are there any hacks to get around the games not loading?
Also, could someone update the state to about 2 stars? You pretty much can't play the core of this game. However, I don't have any audio problems, so that seems to be fixed. I'm using 3.5-1211 x64 and these are my settings: Wow. The release dates on that wiki are way off. Release in Japan: 19th of July 2012, Release in US: 16th of September 2012 (04-11-2013, 04:42 PM)skid Wrote: Yes, you have to enable idle skipping for the classic games to work.Thanks. It worked! I kinda wish it said that, but I guess most people have it already enabled. Ug! I went all the way to the last level of Kirby in Dreamland 2 and I had to reset the game because the controls weren't working properly and all my save data got destroyed! I'd use a save state, but I got an error the last time I closed a game and re-opened it. BTW, Kirby's Adventure is just black. I can hear the music/gameplay, but there don't seem to be any graphics at all. Not even messed up ones. 10-02-2014, 04:30 AM
Hey, in 4.0-3471, the controls for the Classic games don't work. Like, I can access the classic games, but I can't do anything with the controls.

Can anybody verify the CRC32/MD5/SHA1 for the NTSC-U release of this game? Neither TOSEC nor Redump list Wii games, and the GameTDB page for it also doesn't list any checksums, so I can't find a way to check the integrity of my dump.

I would also like to have my checksums confirmed as well. I'm going to go ahead and post them here, but remember, I have no idea if they're accurate. Hopefully somebody out there can tell me if my Clean Rip dump is okay:

I know I'm necrobumping here, just going to take a shot in the dark anyway - anybody have any idea how to solve the strange controller issues with this game when using the DolphinBar?
When I power cycle my real Wiimote after entering a Classic game, though the Wiimote pairs with the DB again, it will not reconnect to the game itself and I have to restart emuation just to get out of the game. What's more, the "1" button does not work when starting a classic mode game, though the D-pad, "A" , and "2" buttons work perfectly - it's just B that doesn't work! This is without disconnection and reconnection or anything - just what happens automatically, and again, trying to dis/reconnect the WiiMote results in a loss of everything. I even tried the challenge mode to see if it was a Classic-only issue, and nope - as soon as you enter the "game" part of the Challenges /leave the "Main menu" part of it, the 1/B button stops working! I can press 1/B to get from the main menu back to the intro movie, though, so I know it's not the controller. Any ideas? I'm stumped.
