[Wii] Project Zero II: Wii Edition

Been a long time user and lurker, but decided to finally register just so I could comment on the Project Zero II page...
I'm currently playing the unDUB version, and am using DSP LLE and LLE on Thread (when using LLE, I should also have on thread enabled too, right?) I'm using latest version of Dolphin that is available for download, and have 4x native set, AFx16, no AA set (because at my resolution you barely notice when AA isnt on), 2560x1600. I am using copies to RAM and the cache enabled.. That's all I remember for now (I'm typing on iPhone at the moment and not at home). The game runs beautifully. Almost 30fps constantly. I used to use a seperate build for most games but the latest Dolphin version is very good (Plays ToS, Xenoblade, Fatal Frame 2 and 4 so far very well). Without LLE I noticed the sound loops, so it's still present even with latest version. This thread should not be buried - its a fantastic gem - as I said, I joined just to comment specifically on this page (and will on others too! 02-02-2013, 10:48 AM
Is this the only one you can get on the wii? I cannot see project zero 3 or any others.
Fatal Frame II and Fatal Frame IV are the only games in the series that were released on Nintendo consoles. And none of those were released in the US, II was released in Japan and Europe/Australia, and IV was released only in Japan. All but IV are available on the PS2; IV is a Wii (and japanese) exclusive.

I have to use the LLE feature, but this is making the game run slow in the battle. I wish I could change the sound manually so I could switch on LLE in cinematics and HLE during gameplay. I hope somebody can add a new core to run the LLE alone, that would fix the problem without slowing down everything. I don't want to overclock my computer just to make it run slightly better . I was able to gain some soundframe by setting the sound at 32000kb. I think I'll try to play like this for a while. It's so sad the HLE is running perfect in the game while it doesn't sound right in the cinematics 02-06-2013, 03:26 PM
Use LLE on Thread to run LLE on a separate core (if you have more than 2 cores that is).

Yeah, LLE is quite demanding. Try to overclock your CPU if LLE on thread doesn't help to improve the performance.

My CPU is a Core i7 3.4 Ghz. I don't think I would need 4 Ghz. But I don't know anything about overclocking. I fear I would blow it up because I'm so bad with hardware. 02-07-2013, 11:43 PM
If you do it right, you can't damage your CPU. Just search for OC guide in the world wide web and you're fine. And make sure, you have a decent cooling system
YAY, it's over 5000 (posts) !!!!
