Hey guys, I'm new here and new to Dolphin.
I've been messing around for a little bit trying to get Widescreen to work on a couple games (Paper Mario on GC and Wind Waker on GC). I've heard that it's best to use an AR code or a Gecko Code. My question is what is the difference?
I know how to load the Gecko code but on Paper Mario there are no Gecko codes so I can't edit the configuration and just created one. But it looks like there is an AR code for that game. Is one better then the other? Should I just use the "Widescreen hack" in the graphic options and force 16:9?
I apologize if these are dumb questions and I did do some googling and youtubing to find out how to use the Gecko codes. I'm just curious about what's the best to use.
Thanks!!
