This may be a question that no one will be able to answer for another week, but most sites suggest that the Wii U gamepad connects via bluetooth (some info is conflicting). If so, would it be possible to connect it to a PC with a BT dongle in the same way as a Wii remote and have dolphin recognize it?
I'm curious because I don't want to buy the PC version of the 360 controller or the adapter for the console version when the Wii U pad may do Gamecube games as well or better for free (well, $299).
What makes me skeptical that bluetooth may be used is the fact that Nintendo talks so much about the connectivity between the controller and the system and how unique and lag free it is. I'd be interested in knowing how the touchscreen would respond if the controller was successfully connected to a PC... probably a black screen the whole time.
