Super mario party has a mode just for handhelds doesn't it? Unless the controllers have to be detached for that one.

The only (real) limitation seems to be the lack of HD Rumble and IR Camera. They say it can't be plugged on TV but the USB-C port still is there at the same location, they say you can't use Bluetooth peripherals and yet it's compatible with separate Joy-Con controllers (which communicates through Bluetooth) for games like 1-2 Switch. What I mean is most of those "limitations" seems to be done in software and I already see modders bypassing all of that once this new Switch get hacked...

The Switch Lite still has that little notch in the bottom behind the charge port. Maybe they're working on a smaller dock but it wasn't ready yet in hardware/software.

I guess you're using the one released for Smash 4 back when it came out on the Wii U? They have updated ones that work just for Switch with the necessary buttons (4 triggers on the back). Also clicky analog sticks. Basically a modern GC controller. I bought one since it was half the price of a Switch Pro controller (wtf are controllers getting to be $60+ these days?) and much more comfortable than the default Joy Cons. I got a GC Hori pad when Smash 4 was released, and even the quality was correct, official controllers were still much better : softer buttons, softer and more precise analog stick. As a competitive player, I came back to the official one very rapidly.
From France with love.

Yep, didn't know they changed them. 07-12-2019, 03:01 PM

Doesn't have the same weight as the original GC controllers (lack of rumble probably plays a big part in that). It definitely has a different feel to it compared to a real GC controller, but it's fine for me. I actually bought for multiplayer stuff with my sister, but I ended up using it as my go-to controller since it feels pretty nice. ExtremeDude2 Wrote:Yep, didn't know they changed them. Well, to be fair to you, I wasn't exactly talking about GC controllers from Nintendo. 3rd-party stuff is what I meant, since Nintendo hasn't officially offered a new GC controller for the Switch (I think?) 07-12-2019, 10:41 PM

They did for ultimate along with the adapter, basically just updated logos afaik. 09-10-2019, 10:08 AM

I’m so excited that this game is being remade! It’s still one of my top favorite games I’ve played. Does anyone else remember playing it? 09-10-2019, 04:37 PM
I played a scaled-down version of this game made for J2ME feature phones. The story did suffer, but the core gameplay mechanics were left intact compared to the console versions. It brings me good memories, good it's being remastered...
