I had a Mario Kart 64 texture pack for Project64's Jabo plugin around my HDD and now SSD since ages ago (2008 at the most, probably), so I thought "why not port it to Dolphin? I want to play MK64 in 3D with those textures".
The texture pack comes from a (now dead) Spanish retexturing community, from a website that I won't mention here because some of its contents violate some rules from these forums. The names of the original creators are in some txt files they left inside the pack, so credits to them for creating these textures.
I didn't focus on the main menu, so you'll see just some textures here and there. But the HUD and environment textures are completely done. There's a problem with the fonts, as you can see in the second screenshot below (they are cut at the bottom). Each texture would need more vertical space, but I won't be doing it soon.
As most texture packs, this uses the new texture format. There are a few 7z files with optional 4:3 textures, because I adapted portraits and item icons to 16:9. To use widescreen in this game, you need to set the Wii mode to 4:3 (Config->Wii->Aspect Ratio) and use the widescreen hack (Graphics->Enhancements->Widescreen Hack).

Its size is 49MB. Enjoy!
