The problem is known. The problem is you're using an old, buggy and abandoned recompiler.

Then why is Pikmin 2 listed as playable with 4/5 on this exact thread with Kwees build (which is made specifically for my device) , with the only problem listed that it is slightly slower than 100%? And why are there videos on YouTube of this exact game on this exact device working perfectly without this issue? I would appreciate actual advice on how to get it to work like others have shown. 12-29-2015, 11:36 AM

It's unlikely someone sat down and played Pikmin 2 all the way through before slapping a number on it. It's a subjective estimate. Those are just the only devices that person tried. Kwee's last post on this thread was almost a year ago, you're unlikely to find help from other users (who have moved on to 64-bit devices if Dolphin is important to them) and it's not fair to expect the developers to support software they did not write or endorse, and which has been abandoned for nearly a year. 02-15-2016, 09:19 PM

I recently purchased the Nvidia Shield K1 and am running Android 6.0.1 (not rooted). I have the latest Dolphin emulator of 4.0 9820 version. However, the games are running very slow (if able to at all) and won't run using the "fast mem" feature. How do I get the emulator to run games and what issues are there? Is their a compatibility issue with android 6.0.1? Please help!!!

I've tried Paper Mario TYD on my Nvidia Shield, and it loads up okay but then I get the first text box (which I believe is asking me if I want to save) but there is no text at all in the box.
I hit a button and I get another box with two options, also with no text, and a hand that let's me select up and down. The box and hand just sit there flashing and I can't make it past this point. The game runs fine on my desktop version of Dolphin, so I assume it's a good dump. Any ideas? Thanks! edit: Nevermind... I saw in other threads that this may be a Marshmallow issue. So I guess it's time to give up hopes of running Dolphin on my device for now. Although I'll leave my question here just in case there IS a solution that someone is aware of. |
