For a long time now, I've been unable to fully appreciate Dolphin, due to the lack of any hardware that was powerful enough. And even now, my system is technically weak. I have a refurbished HP Pavilion with a puny 1.6ghz AMD A8 processor, and had to settle with only achieving half speed in my games, which, to be honest, really dulls the experience.
Well, just yesterday, I discovered the art of overclocking, and while I am aware that is can be dangerous, I went along with it anyway, in hopes that I can improve performance. Now my processor clocks to 3.0ghz while gaming, and all my games now run at full speed, making them all that more enjoyable. And best of all, I haven't experienced any problems from the overclocking.
But now that I can fully appreciate everything Dolphin has to offer, I have to say that I am really impressed. Never before have I felt so satisfied on being able to run a game on my PC flawlessly. This is a feat that I have never dreamed possible for me. And not only that, but with every new revision, Dolphin seems to be getting more and more advanced and refined, which shows that this emulator has a bright future ahead of it. I hope that someday, Dolphin will be able to utilize the CPU and GPU equally, and at the rate it is progressing, I'm sure it will.
Keep up the good work, Dolphin devs! Your work is truly appreciated.
(Also, this is off topic, but why does Super Mario Sunshine supposedly require EFB to RAM? I've been playing it with EFB to Texture with no problems.)
