This happened to me before, but I thought it had something to do with progressive scan, see if you have that enabled.

Ok so i really wanted to share this discovery i made couple days ago too lazy to post it on my own thread so ill share it here since its on the same topic
Soo i was playing monster hunter tri and sound got desync in beginning of game (intro) so i put lle of course but as you can see i dont have a high end pc so i got laggy annoying sound So i randomly check DSP HLE emulation (fast) in properties. Not only was that laggy sht gone it was completly sync and awsome Just thought you guyz should know ,you have to try this based on what i read in this topic Your welcome Spoiler: (11-09-2012, 02:05 PM)yodenny Wrote: So i randomly check DSP HLE emulation (fast) in properties. Not only was that laggy sht gone it was completly sync and awsome Tried to restart the emulator to see if it wasn't a stroke of luck? I mean were you able to repeat that?

I mean were you able to repeat that?Yes, but unfortunately that game needs MMU so it slows down making it desync But with MMU unticked it works great Everybody has got to try this for other games anyway So LLE with DSP HLE emulation (fast). Works I tried this many times so it is NOT a stroke of luck Spoiler: 11-10-2012, 01:08 AM
Setting HLE audio through Properties makes it a per-game setting that's recognized by the .ini file. The settings in the .ini file automatically override any other settings (even if the GUI shows something different). In other words, you're telling Dolphin to ignore your current audio settings (LLE) and use HLE for MH3. I wouldn't think this is any different from just using HLE audio normally. Due to the way each is used in Dolphin, HLE and LLE audio can't really be used at the same time. Try disabling the HLE audio option through Properties and setting the DSP to HLE audio instead of LLE. You should get the same results you're experiencing.

Nope sorry to say but you are wrong on this one and I tested it many times changing the dsp settings but it is like I said sync and no lags in sound. I even tried what you said but when i set it to HLE it gets desynced and when i disable it in properties it just changes to lle recompiler which painfully slows down the game and when i set it to lle without the HLE DSP emulation in properties the sound skips (lags) a lot. Soo im am not getting the same results im experiencing so i believe lle is working with hle or something
well then has Anybody tested this for themsevles i feel like im the only one benefiting from my own discovery Spoiler:
I will test now I have monster hunter tri...but didnt notice any problems with HLE before when I was playing it ?
Is it some slight desync in sound or something really noticable ? 11-10-2012, 01:42 AM
I just tested it with 3.0-802 default settings with HLE and ran the intro movie and everything seems fine.
Cant seem to find any problem with sound. Maybe reason I am not having problems is because game runs fullspeed on my system |
