I've currently started to use the Dolphin emulator and find that it indeed works and loads games as promised, so with that I have no issues. But every game I play is running very slowly, and I'd like to know if the parts in my computer are good enough to run Dolphin. From experience, I feel that these are definitely not enough, but I'd like the opinion from people in the emulating community as well.
Windows 7 32-bit OS
AMD Turion Dual-Core RM-70 2.00 GHz
3.00 GB RAM (2.75 GB usable)
NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G (The nail in the coffin for getting this to work in my opinion.)
I seriously doubt I can get games to run well on my PC, but I'm up for opinions. Super Paper Mario seems to be the best running Wii game I have, and it fluxes from 4 FPS to 25 during gameplay. Even then, some graphical features are missing, such as the Mini Marios that run around him with a certain powerup, as well as the pipe entering/leaving animation. DKC Returns flat out gives me discolored graphics and pitches around 5 FPS. Thoughts?
