Hey Hyperspeed, thanks a lot for posting the links to the revisions, now REmake and RE0 run smoothly here on my system. I just have one question. In REmake, sometimes, usually when playing as Chris, I get some weird lines coming out of him, especially in the main hall and in that corridor where you get the Golden Arrow. Is there anything that might fix that? I'm running the Wii version here for good music, it didn't happen in the GC version, but then I got no music.
Thanks in advance. Oh, and about RE0, only the GC version works smoothly. The Wii version gets about 20 FPS. The GC has some crackling in FMV sound, but it's the best I could run it. 10-31-2010, 04:31 AM

We did mention there's a major performance hit when using LLE due to it accurately emulating the dsp hardware. If you have the Wii versions of these games you may want to give them a try since the audio apparently works better with the Wii versions of Remake and Zero. 10-31-2010, 08:34 AM

I do not know about it, I just play with Jill (I never played with Chris, people say to him is more difficult, it is more difficult, I just play on normal and hard with Jill and ready), with those configurations , and also improvements as Internal Resolution (Auto fractional) 16X Anisotropy filtering Vsync with 1024x768 resolution (Maximum of my monitor) I run to Remake fullspeed. About RE0Wii I run with 27 to 29fps with those settings.

I'm running REmake with 4xSSAA and 16x anisotropy, 1280x1024. Runs perfectly smooth, 30 FPS all the time. No complaints about it, except for these small graphical glitches.
RE0 runs best with the PAL version of the GC game, but crackles the audio in the FMVs a little. The Wii version ran at 20 FPS at those same settings. Maybe I'll turn the resolution down a little. Still struggling with the sound delay in Remake. I would really like some helpful insights so I could fix this.
It hasn't got anything to do with my fps being too low, it's solid 30fps throughout the game. I've tried pretty much everything, changing configurations, different revisions, and even DSL-LLE, but the sound became even more delayed (and unbearable). The only time I do get sound thats in perfect sync, is when I play under OS X instead of Windows 7 x64, but then the game suffers from slowdowns. Help is very appreciated. 11-01-2010, 06:49 AM

Must be your system, os or drivers, there's no de-syncs for me in the RE games, especially with LLE which is hardware accurate.

Well, I reinstalled windows 7, updated my graphics card drivers, tried even more revisions, tried practically all configurations and yet...
You guessed it, the problem remains. I'm out of ideas. How about you guys? |
