Hello. Don't know if you'll see this at this point in time, but hopefully.
Using any settings, for the life of me I cannot get THUG 2 to run well at all. I've tried every frigging combination of settings it seems like, both low and high end, but it continues to emulate at about 45% speed. My computer is certainly more than capable, as I have other games running consistently at 60 fps. I've also tried the stable version of 3.0 and the most recent 3.5-1334. Because it was posted that this game is playable, I'm wondering if it is simply the revision I'm using or maybe the game wasn't tested thoroughly. Have you heard anything else like this? Update: Something during an update of Dolphin seems to have been broken. It plays great on: r6515, 3.0-160, 3.0-200, 3.0-305, 3.0-353, 3.0-407. I'm currently testing more, will update again. Update2: I think I have found the disconnect! It plays poorly on 3.5-78, but decently on 3.0-917. Somewhere between these updates, I think something major changed that broke support. Additional note: This seems to also apply to PSO, although I've only walked around in the starting area in that game to test. For now, I'll play on '917, but I'd like to see something fixed. 11-04-2015, 03:11 PM
After I load a custom graphic and go back to Create a Skater to apply it onto my character, the emulator instantly crashes, followed by an endless string of error messages.
Does this happen to anyone else? Was gonna call my friends and get 'em all together
I was gonna go and start a band But everything I wanna do, it's already been done Why would I wanna go and do it again?
So guys. I recently picked this game up again and somethings have changed with the directX backend.
Alot of the 3d-objects are now flickering and makes the game somewhat unpleasant to play. (ignore the choppy sound. fraps killed my speed while recording.) Videocard: Intel HD4000. I haven't tried it on my desktop yet which have a nVidia card. 08-06-2016, 09:35 AM
I have a problem where whenever I'm in a menu and I navigate through the options, it skips over options that i need to get too. Example is if I need to get too "View Goals" it skips over it and goes to "Text Messages". Can you help me?

But when I booted it up today I had this weird menu skipping bug happening. It happens in ANY menu, including ones where you must type initials. The game plays fine, skaters control like normal but the menus are having major problems. And if you ever get to a point where you have to put in letters you just have to exit the emulator because you can’t actually get to the done button. This same thing is happening in tony hawks American wasteland. None of my other games (Wind Waker, Paper Mario, Godzilla, Super smash brothers) are having this issue. Haven’t tried any of the other tony hawk games at this point. I did try deleting and reinstalling Dolphin with no luck, same with deleting the game and setting it up again. Anyone have ANY idea at all why this is happening? Super frustrating 05-13-2020, 07:33 AM
I having issues with THUG2 (and American Wasteland) where the game resolution keeps shifting. It happens randomly during gameplay and constantly when doing certain actions, such as the name input in Create-A-Skater. It's getting rather annoying and I was wondering how to fix it.

@CommanderProton, please do not double post. It's a shared issue between THUG 2 and American Wasteland, and you have a response in American Wasteland so, please do not continue posting here about it.

At the time, I thought that with how it was worse in THAW that it would be worth posting it in both, though that was kinda silly to think in hindsight. I apologize for double posting. |
