That's because like we suspected the speedup had nothing to do with changing the framelimit setting. It was a coincidence and you didn't properly verify it through testing before you reported it. You must have changed something else. I don't know what it was but I can tell you with certainty that it wasn't changing the framelimit setting that caused this.
