You don't need SCP(faq) or Motioninjoy to get the ps3 controller to work.
This thread is for Windows of course (for Ubuntu Linux, screwing around with an old app; jstest-gtk if I remember right; will as I suppose excidentally enable the controller lol, try rumble)
The controller works well with the DirectInput driver automatically installed opening PSNow.
Steam also works with it.
You don't even need to start the PSNow free trial, just connect the controller with the program open, or install it manually if possible.
Can someone authorized test it and see for themself what's the best?
This isn't xinput, but not a wrapper at least.
I don't know if it works wireless and don't know about the sixaxis motion functionality (second doesn't work on Android default drivers however).
This is just the official Sony way to do it I guess.
