Title mostly describes my issue with Sonic Colors
Under Direct3D 11:
gets around 12 fps in Sonic Colors at the act selection
Under Direct3D 9:
gets a solid 30 FPS on act selection and remains at VPS/2 if FPS limiter disabled
With OpenGL the act selection screen runs faster than Direct3D 11 at 4x native with all max settings. (Won't even post specs for that, there's something wrong there)
This issue does not seem to occur in Super Mario Sunshine, as far as I have seen.
Catalyst 12.8 (Latest)
Gaming settings default
MSI Afterburner controlling the overclocking on my HD 6950. There are no FPS limits in place.
Even at the WII notice that happens at the launch of the game I get around 30 FPS (out of 60). This should be the least demanding part of this game.
Are there any settings that would optimize the performance of Direct3D 11 in this game, or should I just stick to D3D9? There is obviously no difference, but it may be good to know regardless.
Computer Hardware:
PowerColor HD 6950 2GB @ 915/1350
Corsair Vengeance 8GB(4GBx2) @ 1600MHz
Intel i5-3570k @ 4.3 ghz
Under Direct3D 11:
Code:
2x native (1280x1056)
AA: 8 samples (quality level 16)
AF: 16x
Scaled EFB Copy
~all other settings stock
Under Direct3D 9:
Code:
2x native(1280x1056)
AA: 9x SSAA
AF: 16x
Scaled EFB Copy
~all other settings stock
