If you have Windows or Linux, you can use 2.0 on that OS to make a memory card save then transfer it back to OS X. Although using 2.0 really should be you last resort. You haven't told us if you tried any of the previous suggestions made in this thread. For all we know, using 2.0 was just a fluke for the OP; there's no way to know if it will work for you. I recommend trying the very latest Dolphin revisions to see if those can create proper memory card files.

I've tried everything the OP tried, and when i try to install the newest revision it just crashes on os x, so for me this is like the last resort, maybe im doing something wrong but if so i have no clue what it is.
Did you try importing .gci save from a site like GameFAQs? Have you tried creating a MC on different revisions, not the latest, but one's slightly newer than 3.0 (e.g. 3.0-1XX) What about revisions slightly older than 3.0 (e.g. r76XX) Don't get hung up on strictly using 2.0, there might be other revisions out there that do what you're looking for. Failing all of that, honestly look into booting Windows or Linux for Dolphin 2.0 if you can't resolve the crashing on OSX. If not via BootCamp, you can run another OS as a virtual machine.
Also note that the OP hasn't been on in awhile; some people create an account, ask a question, then leave the community. I wouldn't bet on the OP coming back anytime soon to give you an MC file. You'll have better luck solving this by yourself or with the help of more active members. |
