As an nvidia user i hope this finds it's way to OGL, after the TEV merger i've been too afraid to update to new SVN builds cause i use OGL as my backend, otherwise my texture mods and up all broken
Or are GTX 680's in the group of GPU's that can handle integer math well? the listed Titan and 780 on the main page are Kelper as is my GTX 680, Though i feel the answer will be "Why don't you just upgrade and found out?" haha 05-20-2014, 02:52 AM

This is not working at all for me. DolphinD3DLTCG.exe crashes everytime i start a game, tried 3 games, mainly Wind Waker PAL. DolphinLTCG.exe does work for me, even with sound, if i change the audio backend to DSound. Are both compiled by you?
"DolphinD3DLTCG.exe has stopped working" Quote:Problem signature: I'm using Windows 7 x64, a Core 2 Duo @3.2 Ghz, 4 GB RAM, an AMD Radeon 7790, Catalyst 14.4 and a ps3 controller connected via bluetooth as X360 controller(XInput wrapper by Scarlet.Crush). The 1st try was with the older special Radeon 7790 Catalyst version. If you are interested in finding the cause of the problem, i'm more than willing to help, considering i'm very exited about this change. 05-20-2014, 05:31 AM
Hi mimimi,
I will provide a new build for the test, if it still crash, you will find a reg file to add to your registry that generate a mini dump file in "D:\Dump" ( feel free to change the path ). I will be able to investigate further with it. the new build and the reg file is here : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwFELyK...sp=sharing the xaudio2 backend for seven is back in that build plus more d3d optimization. It is an "deliver in state", as i still do not have deployed the tools use normally to build a real dolphin release, there may be something i miss but the crash dump will help if it still crash. 05-20-2014, 06:06 AM
Hi,
it's still crashing, but now i could select xaudio2 as backend. I do understand that this is a work in progress effort of a new dolphin developer, so i'm not expecting things to go smooth. Are there any options that are more relevant than others for this change? Like the efb settings and whatnot? This log is from trying to run Wind Waker PAL, if that helps. 05-20-2014, 06:15 AM
mimimi: there is no need to test the audio backends. They may be broken because of this build, but not because of the change galop1n wants you to try. Once this code is merged, the audio backend won't be affected at all.

i look at it now, here a new build without a fix but that should give you a nice dialog box giving you an error number related to the faulty code.
EDIT: ok i figure what happens more likely, you have an AMD card no ? nvidia is a bit laxist in their driver and fix a lot of miss usage from the developers :p a build that should work : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwFELyK...sp=sharing |
