I currently am running dolphin on a Pentium Dual-core (wolfdale) at 3.5ghz. The only difference between a Pentium Dual-core and a C2D is the amount of cache in cpu the and in some cases SSE4. I have an extra 775 motherboard lying around that I can either by a cheap Pentium Dual-core to put in it or buy a C2D for the machine that has the overlocked Pentium Dual-core (wolfdale @ 3.5) mentioned above and and put my old cpu in the extra board.
What I would like to know is there an advantage between Pentium Dual-core and a C2D (using dolphin) at the same clock speed considering that they are identical chips except for the amount of cache.
Thanks in advanced.
