I know ''get the real one'' but the prices of the Remote Plus is ludicrous.
Anybody try these? £15 for them both seems to good too be true.

The Wii should see these as real, so so should dolphin, but I'm no expert. I think the "get the real ones" is to tell you that they don't guarantee these will work, and won't be bothering to make dolphin compatible any time soon, so don't want you to spend £15 and then still have to spend another £30 on a real one and also another £12 on a nunchuck. They probably will work, but it is probably safer to get real ones.
third party wiimotes are working with dolphin...
but there are several problems like random disconnects every 10-40min... that they are not recognized by dolphin... that you have to change the bluetooth stack... and so on some third party wiimotes are working perfeclty... some are not working at all... its a gamble!

My Wiimote 'n nunchuck and wireless sensor bar arrived today. Really impressed.
The Wiimote de-synced once, hoping it's just a one time thing. If i'm being picky the LED lights show how thin the plastic is, instead of the square lighting up, a thumb sized glow happens. 03-03-2012, 06:00 AM
Never trust anything or anyone on Ebay! YOU CAN'T TRUST ANYONE these days.

I tried to get a cheepy at first. I ended up buy so many other thing to make it better it was not worth it in the end. So I took my cheepy and swapped it with a read deal form my sis, now everything is very playable. Beware of the cheep nun-chucks on ebay. I bough 4 and to day only one is fully working, its like over time they die out.

I've only been screwed by eBay three times (and it was actually my dad, as these were items for the whole family/just a sibling).
1) Hutch for a guinea pig that was described as brilliant was terrible when it turned up. The seller was very apologetic and said their father who used to build the hutches had retired and that we were the second buyer since the manufacture had been outsourced. We got our money back plus some extra. 2) We bought a then state of the art computer for a really good price. We checked when we bought it and Windows genuine advantage said it was a legit copy... for the first 18 months. By then the seller had disappeared. 3) One copy of Pokemon Emerald. We bought this from a Norwegian seller who was getting rid of their old copy... who turned out to be in hong kong, and a fairly busy seller for a fortnight until people started to realise that their goods weren't coming. We lost a whole £13, even after putting in more than £13 of work into getting our money back. But three out of about 150 isn't too bad... SO EBAY FOR THE WIN!!!
